Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TuneCV, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

Service Description

TuneCV provides AI-assisted resume parsing, ATS scoring, keyword analysis, and export tools designed to help professionals create stronger applications. Features may evolve, and we reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue functions at any time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use TuneCV. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account credentials.

Account Responsibilities

Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for securing the files you upload.

User Content

You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, and other content you supply. You grant TuneCV a limited license to process the content solely to provide analysis, scoring, and export features. You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload and use the content within the service.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the platform, including attempting to access unauthorized data, reverse engineer services, or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Credits & Payments

Some features require credits or paid plans. Pricing and credit policies are described during purchase and may change with notice. Paddle acts as our merchant of record for processing payments.

AI Output and Recommendations

TuneCV uses Google Gemini models and heuristic scoring systems. AI-generated recommendations are suggestions only; you are responsible for reviewing final resumes and ensuring accuracy and compliance with job requirements.

Intellectual Property

TuneCV retains all rights to the platform, including software, AI prompts, branding, and proprietary scoring methodologies. You may not copy or reuse platform assets without written permission.

Third-Party Services

TuneCV integrates services from Supabase, Vercel, Google Cloud, and other providers. Your use of these services through TuneCV is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party platforms we do not control.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific job outcomes, interview offers, or employer responses.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TuneCV and its partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid in the six months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TuneCV against claims resulting from your content, your use of the platform, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if continued service is not commercially or legally feasible. You may close your account at any time by contacting janardhan@tunecv.app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service and will post the latest version at tunecv.app/terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
